Cartoon museum

National Treasure Bill Tidy was on BBC Breakfast this morning commenting on Steve Bell's less than enthusiastic film on the opening of the Cartoon Museum in London, set up by The Cartoon Art Trust. He didn't have a lot to say about political cartooning!

Ooh controversy! What was Steve Bell saying then?

Bill was moaning about the space that political cartoons get in the newspapers - compared with gag cartoons - and the fact that politicians like to buy the artwork! Steve was being his understated lugubrious self - a style that doesn't come over well on telly!
